3,3'-DIMETHYLQUERCETIN 3,3'-dimethylquercetin is a dimethoxyflavone that is quercetin in which the hydroxy groups at position 3 and 3' have been replaced by methoxy groups. It has been isolated from several plant species and exhibits anti-bacterial and anti-cancer properties. It has a role as a plant metabolite, an antibacterial agent, an antineoplastic agent and an apoptosis inducer. It is a trihydroxyflavone, a dimethoxyflavone and a member of 3'-methoxyflavones. It derives from a quercetin. Disadvantages
It has the disadvantages of OPV (vaccine). You can specify the following: 1. Since the drug is made from a live virus, there is a risk of actual infection with the paralytic form of poliomyelitis. Such a complication after vaccination is called vaccination-associated disease (VAP). This disease is caused by strains of poliomyelitis, which are components of the medicine for vaccination. Typically, cases of VAP result from the wrong dose of the vaccine, as well as poor storage and transport conditions. Individual sensitivity to the components of the drug cannot be excluded. 2. It is not recommended to vaccinate a child against polio with an oral vaccine if there is a pregnant woman or another unvaccinated child in the immediate environment of the baby, as well as people with a weakened immune system. This carries a risk of infection for the categories of people indicated. 3. Despite manufacturers' beliefs, a "live" vaccine causes adverse reactions more often than IPV. 4. It is important to clarify the composition of such a drug: it includes 3 types of virus strains, 2 antibiotics (Streptomycin and Neomycin) and formaldehyde as a preservative. |
